Play-Based Approach
In addition to the mandated DOE curricula, PS 124 implements a play-based approach. All 3K and 4K classes are fully play-based, and all upper level classes (K-5) are mandated to implement one period of play-based learning. Such activities may include games or specially designed learning centers where students complete creative activities oriented around key concepts.
