Parent Teacher Association (PTA)
As a parent or guardian of a PS 124 student, you are automatically a member of the PTA (Parent Teacher Association) — welcome! There are no mandatory dues or membership requirements. The PTA’s goal is to support and enrich the educational, emotional, and social lives of all of our children. We meet in the school cafeteria once a month, alternating between mornings at 8:45am (coffee and a light snack served) and evenings at 5:45pm (light dinner served and babysitting provided). Our meetings are a great way to learn about important school updates, discover helpful resources and support, and connect with other families to build a stronger school community.

So many of the events and initiatives that make our school amazing can ONLY happen when parents participate – check out our socials (@ps124pta on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok), Konstella, and our bulletin board for opportunities to get involved. Donate
The PTA also helps facilitate community events, provides classroom grants to teachers, and pays for enrichment programs such as theater and dance.
